1,000 Books Before Kindergarten - Fairy Tale Theme (Ongoing)

Ages 0-5

Enjoy reading 1,000 books with your little ones! Log reading and earn badges all along the way. Encourage a lifetime love of reading for your child.

100 Books Before Graduation (Ongoing)

Ages: 6th Grade – 12th Grade

The more you read, the more you know! Join this challenge and read 100 books before graduating! Log your reading in Beanstack, and earn a new set of badges!

500 Books Before Middle School (Ongoing)

Ages: Kindergarten – 6th Grade

Can you read 500 books before middle school? You bet you can! Join this challenge and work towards new badges along the way!

2024 Adult Great Reads from Great Places: Western II (August 1, 2024 – July 31, 2025)

Ages: All

Immerse yourself in some great reading! This challenge features the Western II Region's Great Reads from Great Places Adult titles of 2024.

Big Read, sponsored by Libby, encourages readers to read the same title as a literacy community! This challenge's title is Montgomery and the Case of the Golden Key by Tracy Occomy Crowder

Indigenous American Heritage Month 2024 (November 1 – November 30, 2024)

Ages: All

Every year November is recognized as Indigenous American Heritage Month. From Alaska to the East Coast of the United States, many Indigenous peoples have developed rich cultures and traditions that date back thousands of years. Log your reading all month long and earn badges inspired by Indigenous cultures.

Smokey Bear Reading Challenge (January 1 – November 28, 2024)

Ages: All

Help Smokey celebrate his 80th birthday by learning how to prevent wildfires and help the environment! Read 3 books on wildfire prevention or the environment and earn 4 activity badges to complete the challenge and earn your prize! Start by taking Smokey’s Pledge. Badges are earned by completing at least one activity in each section. You can select books from Smokey's Reading List at smokeybear.com, or choose your own.
